Blik Receives AIGA "Fellow" Recognition! On September 17, 2009, Principal Tyler Blik, was recognized as an AIGA Fellow at the sixth annual Design Legends Gala in New York City. Hosted by the national chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the AIGA Fellow program recognizes designers who have made significant contribution to raising the standards of excellence in practice and conduct within their local or regional design community. The areas of education, writing, leadership and reputation, in addition to the practice of design,
are given equal consideration in measuring significant contributions. Also receiving a Fellow award from San Diego, was long-standing educator, Candice Lopez, design department chair at City College.
